Auckland City Mission CookOff

Each year the Auckland City Mission provides almost 14,000 emergency food parcels for families and individuals, who otherwise would be going hungry. These food parcels provide 550,776 meals annually. The Auckland City Mission CookOff provides the opportunity for Auckland Business Leaders and top chefs to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable Aucklanders through fundraising and the hosting of a special meal for 200 families on March 7th 2018. The $250,000 raised by this event will help us provide 3,846 emergency food parcels for families in need.

About the Auckland City Mission

The Auckland City Mission supports thousands of Aucklanders in desperate need each year through specialised health and social services. These services include: a low-cost health centre, Crisis Care emergency support, isolated elder persons service, homeless outreach and support, a homeless community drop-in centre and drug and alcohol services. Mission Staff provide the immediate practical assistance required and then provide specialised support and assistance to help resolve deeper issues.
